Scent is very strong, not very hydrating

"It would be accurate to call it a ritual oil because I believe the ritual is what makes using it special. I should have known better than to order a product with a “fragrance” listed on the label but I wanted to try because I previously used and like the Beauty Oil, which doesn’t have any added fragrance or strong scent. I am unlikely to buy again because of the strong scent and when I did use, it didn’t hydrate as much as I was expecting- my skin is usually dry. It mostly sits on the surface unless you really massage it in for a while. The most positive thing I can say about the Ritual Oil is that it has a nice texture and packaging."

Not For Me

"I tried this body oil everyday as directed and started to notice a reaction. I purchased this product to help with my sensitive, dry skin and didn't put two and two together until I'd been using it for about a month. In the crook of my elbow and at the back of the knees I started to itch and all my skin where I had applied the product was extremely dry, especially on my shins. Once I stopped using it and went back to using organic Avocado Oil (which you can purchase at most grocery stores) things immediately got better. I let the company know so they could include the information on their website. I'm glad to hear it works for some, it's definitely not for me and I have passed what's left of the product to my cousin to see if it works for her. We'll see."
